- fly the kite forward at 11 or 1
- the closer you get to the shore the slower you ride
- steer the kite slightly to zenith
- pull down the bar and edge
- at lift off take your feet out of the straps and fly without the board
- lift your legs up and lean your upper body backwards
. go upside down
- spread your legs or hold them tight together
- keep the kite in zenith and fly until you land
